How to train the brain?

What methods (educational games, techniques, exercises, etc.) can be used to develop and train thinking? The question is probably of little relevance to programmers, since thinking is their job, but nevertheless I ask it here.

You need to train not so much the brain as motivation and concentration.
1. Learn during any work, to do ONLY this work.
2. General education. Read different literature. Different genres. It is worth watching classic films, because it does not always matter whether the film contains modern technology and mobile phones, but it is important how the relationship between people and activity takes place. This helps you choose the right level of abstraction when looking at things, and increases your relevance accordingly. A broad outlook is generally just the very thing that will help you say in time "dude, you've been struggling head-on over the problem for xx hours and are still at an impasse. We need to look for a DIFFERENT approach." And maybe even immediately indirectly hint at a different approach.
3. Periodically change the activity to a completely different one - a few hobbies or pastimes that are radically different from your usual work are fine for this. Sports, reaction games - well distract from the calculation of matrices.
