How to track what requests/commands the mobile app sends?

I bought myself a Cooper & Hunter Nordic evo 2 air conditioner with wifi.
To control it via wifi, there is a Chinese Home Easy program (it only works with it). For some reason, this program works with the air conditioner only when it is on the same network as the phone :(
I tried to see what commands this program sends through mitmproxy, but unfortunately I don’t see anything, that is, no requests are displayed at all when the air conditioner is controlled. The
port scanner showed on the air conditioner port 12416 and that's it.
How else can I find out how and what commands the program sends to control the air conditioner?
I did not find a public API :(
