How to track the process of deleting files from a flash drive?

Linux Mint 18.2 MATE.
Noticed a strange feature.
Files from a flash drive of any size are deleted instantly through Caja, that is, they immediately disappear from the category, however, if you remove the flash drive after instant deletion, then some of the deleted files will remain on the flash drive that cannot be deleted and opened (for example, video files). I believe that the files simply do not have time to be deleted, and, accordingly, removing the flash drive creates such a problem. But how to track the removal process and understand at what point you can pull out the USB flash drive, since the usual File Operation window does not open in this case.
Tell me please.

1. There is an indicator on the flash drive
2. Remove the flash drive through "eject disk", then you will be culturally told when you can.
