How to track email opens?

The task seemed simple.
Pull my script to read the letter.
I only need to know that the user has read the email.
And I even know for sure that in most cases the user will read emails in Outlook.
An obvious at first glance solution with inserting a picture with a counter turned out to be not working.
Outlook does not load pictures by URL by default.
This must be enabled separately in the settings.
Googled mention of the Disposition-Notification-To and X-Confirm-Reading-To headers, but they require a separate email and server access to read emails. In general, not very usable and not reliable.
Maybe someone knows an adequate, working solution?
PS: Google says there is no solution, but maybe I didn't search well.

Not so simple. There are no standard mechanisms - simply not provided. The fact of delivery to the box can be caught through sieve on the server. But the fact of opening to catch only local crutches - for example, your plug-in for Outlook. Yes, it will be necessary to install it, and also so that Casper does not squeal. For TB, you need to raise developer documentation - maybe there is a handler.
