@Anonym

Maybe you should dump the site completely and torture it locally?

Specify the task: what CMS, how many, under what circumstances, permanently or irregularly.
Let's take Drupal for example. Memory will only consume one Index.php file because all other files are connected to it. The usual load detection procedure goes like this:
1. We look at the list of modules and their purpose, at this stage it is already clear which modules can eat up memory, although it is not always possible to turn them off, because they make the site functional
2. Devel developer modules are installed, for example, and “heavy†pages are searched, mainly on such pages there are a lot of requests to muscle
3. On “heavy†pages, we start debugging with Xphof

If this is a regular shared hosting, then you should write to those. support. They see exactly which files are giving the load.

The most worthy option is to transfer the site to your developer environment, and see various requests with a profiler - you can take it from the combat server logs. On a shared hosting, without the appropriate tools, you will waste time and do fortune-telling on coffee grounds.
