How to trace connections in Windows?

I use the phone to connect the laptop to the Internet via usb (dial-up). I just connect as soon as the traffic starts to leave when idle (I don’t download anything). Hence the question - how to see what goes where and all that. Auto-updates seem to be disabled everywhere.

If everything that breaks into the network is direct, then https://www.wireshark.org/ will help you if you know how networks work, and if it’s simple and fast, then mace-ftl has already answered

If the seven and above: Start - Search - Resource Monitor
There is a network tab, and no third-party sniffers or firewalls are needed
