How to terminate "endless" background process in PhpStorm?

Today I noticed that on a certain project in PhpStorm's background the process is running all the time:


I can't stop, there is no such button. Tried restarting both the IDE and the system - to no avail. What could it be, how to fix it? When opening directories with other projects, there is no such thing (but there is no webpack there either). The webpack config is not very complicated, I don’t understand what it can analyze there)

if you click there, a pop-up should appear, in which there will be a cancel and / or pause button.
or be patient and let the task finish.
as a fallback, invalidate the cache.
