How to teach Linux Mint not to turn off WiFi when closing the laptop lid?
It is necessary that the laptop works all the time, even when folded. It would seem that set in the settings not to fall asleep when the lid is closed, and everything is OK. Shhzzz! Mint does not fall asleep, but at the same time, for some reason, it still turns off WiFi, and then, when the lid is opened, it is in no hurry to connect it back.

Check the power saving mode in the control panel. As far as I remember, in addition to the standby mode, there is also the "Turn off WiFi during idle" or "when the lid is closed" mode.
UPD: Network settings - Wireless network - your network options - network security and tick "available to all users".
