How to tame the USB connection widget in KDE?
A standard KDE applet opens when mounting flash drives.
From it, I only need the extraction function, so that it should not be hidden in the tray, but be in sight - but at the same time, when connecting flash drives, "keep quiet" without opening. The applet settings on this topic are empty.
I also cannot refuse automounting of devices, it is necessary to combine these two points.
The monitor is small, the inserted flash drive causes the applet to close a third of the screen, which is inconvenient, and you have to do the actions "inserted the flash drive - closed the notification - returned to work."
Who can tell me where this behavior can be influenced?

The applet is not responsible for automounting. You can remove it, and add the command sync & udisks --unmount /dev/sdXY to hotkey
