How to take a screenshot of a gif as a photo using python?

Guys, there is a task. Make a "preview" GIF. i.e. a screenshot of the GIF in the form of a photo - so that when the
list is loaded, the entire GIF is not loaded - but loaded later, if the element is selected.
Tell me if there are solutions in PYTHON?
