How to systematically study calculus?
Good evening,
Studying some materials related to AI and machine learning - all the time I come across the fact that I have to calculate matan, numerical methods, discrete mathematics, decision methods, linear algebra, optimization methods, probability theory. But I do all this piece by piece, a lot of knowledge, as it turned out, was not wasted after the time of the university, but since then there has been an understanding of how to systematize my knowledge in these subjects.
Perhaps someone can advise how to sort it out, and in what order which topics should be studied in order to navigate well in this field? And does it make sense? I often hear the opinion that there is nothing wrong with using some algorithms without completely understanding what they actually do, but this approach always depresses me, I still cannot agree with it.
