How to sync gmail contacts with non-android phone?

The Samsung Wave 8500 phone was once successfully configured to synchronize contacts via https://m.google.com/syncml but it seems that Google first closed new connections and then just quietly strangled the possibility of such synchronization even for old users (there is a connection and then "network failure"). Are there any other ways to sync work contacts permanently (not by copying the phone book to CSV and not transferring contacts one by one)?
