How to swap instances in Figma while keeping overrides?
A simple case, purely for example. There are icon components, all painted in the same color (or color style). I create an instance of one of the icons, apply a different color or style to it, and now I want to change this instance to another icon, but so that this new color remains, and not the original one. The task sounds simple, but in practice it seems unsolvable. Plus, I want to keep not only the color of the instance, but also other overrides.
Moderators: please do not change the complexity of my questions, I adequately evaluate it. My last question remains unanswered.

when changing the instance of the button, for example, from primary
to the default
instance of the selected icon, it is reset. Does anyone have a solution?
