How to superimpose an image on text as a style using CSS?

Probably a dumb question, but I couldn't find anything by googling.
It is necessary to overlay the picture on the text, i.e. the text must be a "mask". I understand perfectly how this is done in Photoshop, but is it possible to do this with css / html?
The bottom line is that the image ("style") will change, but you don't want to redo everything in FS.
If this is not possible - write.
