How to structure elements in qml?

Good day!
I have experience with Qt widgets and decided to deal with qml now. I'm a beginner, don't throw Turks.
I'm interested in how to structure elements in qml? The usual qvlayout and qhlayout (or rather, their analogues) do not automatically adjust in size to the elements in them. And I'm used to building the application in lines, and then sorting them using qvlayout. How to structure applications in qml?
