How to stream video from PC over network to media player?
There is a TV at home without smart and network, it is simply used as a large monitor for the Asus O! Play Air media player. Connected to it via HDMI. The media player has a wired connection to the home network and through it I mainly watch movies from folders shared on the network on the PC.
Actually, the question is, is it possible to somehow organize the broadcast of video to a TV / media player from a browser (for example, from YouTube) or a broadcast of a PC screen? Even if there is no sound transmission, the PC is in the same room and you can turn on the sound there. I don’t consider the option to pull HDMI from a PC to a TV and use it as a monitor yet, to throw a normal cable there, you need about 8-9 meters and in the future they will generally have to disperse into different rooms.
