How to store a large number of infoblock properties?

Hello.
There are 4000 properties that are linked to certain categories in the infoblock.
When editing an IB element, only properties that are linked to the corresponding category are displayed.
Such a number of properties greatly loads the editing of elements. But at least you can keep them. But if you try to change some category (for example, add a picture), then after pressing the Save button, all fields are reset, the breadcrumbs change, and we generally get from the Content to the Desktop.
Are there alternative options for storing properties? Or maybe something else can be done?
