How to stop nohup Ubuntu process?

After running a python script through nohup, all output in the terminal goes through nohup.out. How to return normal output? I know that I need to find the process normer and delete it via kill, but when asked ps -ef | grep python, can't find active processes. How to be?

Are you sure you have a Python script running? maybe it's already completed?
tail -f nohup.out says what?
