How to start pulling data from the Instagram API using Python?

Hello!
I registered the application on Instagram, received the ID. I downloaded the module from Github to work with the API, installed it.
I don’t understand why and how to start writing commands to receive data? I never worked with the API before, I didn’t install libraries (Anaconda, all libraries are built-in there).
You can tell me, throw off examples or working links with examples, so that there is something to build on, so to speak, to feel the ground under your feet.
I have been actively working with Python for a little less than a year. Experience with Numpy, Pandas. Scipy, Matplotlib libraries Will this
knowledge be enough to start working with the API?
