How to start learning software testing?
Good day. Please advise where to start learning software testing?
Books, courses, whatever. And there is one more question to which I would very much like to get an answer. What does "Knowledge of testing techniques and software life cycle" mean? I want to try out for juniors, and there is such a point. I will be very grateful.

Good afternoon.
If you know English at least somehow, then I recommend Ron Patton "Software Testing". For a first book, it's amazing.
A more or less decent video course for a beginner that I know about is a testing course from mail.ru. There is on YouTube.
"Knowledge of testing techniques and software life cycle" is divided into two points:
1) Testing techniques here most likely means knowledge of test design techniques. Required minimum - equivalent partitioning + boundary values, testing using decision tables, state transition diagrams, testing by use cases. You can also read about code coverage, but here you need to have at least basic knowledge in programming.
All this is googling. If with English more or less, then I recommend Coplend "A Practitioner's Guide to Software Test Design". But it’s better to have an article first, to make it easier, the book is still for a person who has at least a little work experience (IMHO).
2) "Knowledge of the software life cycle" - Google the phrase "Software life cycle models". Minimum - waterfall and spiral. Well, you can also read about Agile.
Without participation in real projects, you will most likely understand little, but at least get a general idea. And in general, you need to read books on software engineering, but for a junior tester this is hardly necessary.
