How to start learning English from books?

Good afternoon, I realized for myself that I need to study English in depth. At the moment, I'm only interested in written English, because I have to work with English documentation. In order to avoid advice on what to learn and conversational in parallel, I would like to say right away that now the priority is writing, the ability to write some small articles in English, rewrite from English. customers.
For conversation, the best classes are with native speakers -
Actually
, I decided to devote time to English in the evening at home, before going to bed, this is due to the fact that during the day there is actually no time, and information is better remembered before going to bed.
The question is whether it is possible to teach him from some books, rather than video lessons. Is there a plan to get off to a good start solely on books? If so, which ones, what approach, etc.
Thank you in advance

I would advise you to read in the browser and install a chrome extension - so that when you hover over an unfamiliar word, you can immediately see the translation. So fast.
Just reading a book can be a lot of incomprehensible words - and this usually decreases motivation)

Better not from books, but from programs, the Rosetta Stone program is the best way to learn any foreign language!
