How to start learning C++ as a beginner?

Previously, I was engaged in layout, html with css, nothing more. I realized that I want something more, the choice fell on the crosses.
I know that it will be painful, difficult, and in general it is better to shoot the leg right away, but I want to try. Please help with the choice of material, books, videos.
