How to start learning 3D max towards Gamedev?
I'm trying for the seventh time to learn the basics of Max, but the fuse disappears when you don't understand the process of work. It's stupid to copy from the video, not an option, I don't understand what I'm doing (practically).
The only thing I understood is that you need to start with modeling a very simple one in order to motivate yourself for further work.
The same is true for gamedev.
This is generally a great coverage: texturing, rigging, animation, post-processing, texturing, and modeling itself as -low -higt. If you forgot something, add it in the comments))
So the question is about modeling, where to start studying and how to build a training plan to advance into the gaming environment?
What modifiers are used in game development? I read that there are not many of them, about 6-9 (edit poly, she'll, bend, push, uvw map, xform and ffd2x2x2)

Maybe this video will teach you something and motivate you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rb0UiW3Ula0 as you can see, you need to start not with 3d, but with sketches.
any, even third-party, even built-in, anyway, they are all buggy and you have to work a lot manually after them
I advise you to start with polygonal modeling (EditPoly) to read about the correct mesh / correct topology for anti-aliasing and unwrap textures (Unwrap map). And modifiers can then be applied to a good mesh.
