How to start downloading a torrent through a web seed so that it happens directly via HTTP?
Welcome all!
Our provider blocks downloading torrents from the external Internet. But there is the possibility of an exchange in the internal address space of the provider's network.
There was an idea to bypass the blocking by downloading external files via a web seed, i.e. indicate to the torrent client a link to a file located on some VDS. In theory, this download should go via HTTP, and the provider cannot kill this traffic. However, for some reason, the download does not go. If you turn on the VPN, the download starts.
So the question is - how to make the torrent client "not fire" and download the file directly via HTTP? So that we can collectively download files faster, then give them to each other on the internal network at normal speed?

All in all, no way. Or find out what kind of DPI equipment the provider has and think about how to get around it, start by using ports that are common for HTTP and not for torrents (they seem to have different ranges)

And who will upload files to the web seed, slaves?
Experiment with rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3761893
Found hidden functionality in old utorrent 3.x. Then I'll tweak that topic a bit :)
