How to start developing mobile games?

I want to start developing games for smartphones (Android for starters), a few questions arose:
1) Where is it better to start, writing in any language or immediately on some engine (if so, which one is better)?
2) Which games are easier to develop?
3) Which games are more profitable?
4) What problems can a novice developer face?

I understand that these questions are superficial, but I need to understand where to start.
Interested in advice, articles where this is described, everything related to this trend, everything you can suggest.

If I'm not mistaken, then games on smartphones are now increasingly gaining popularity and profitability for developers, of course, if it concerns one developer, large projects on the web and on the PC are more profitable, but they also require high costs and personnel.
I set out to make mobile games, of course, the ultimate goal is to make money...

@bersus

1. To begin with, I would advise you to find like-minded people, it is easier to cope with difficulties together.
2. Solve emerging issues through Google, analyze information, and not ask direct questions in the hope that someone will give a ready answer.
3. Read more specialized resources on game development and IT in general. This will allow you to stay up to date with the latest trends. For example, the same habr.com, vc.ru, boroda.io and even dtf.ru.
