How to start and where to move?

Hello everyone, I'm 15 and I'm a self-taught programmer. Amateur. Let's start with the background, namely that I have been programming for about 2 years. But I have never dealt with any technology/field seriously. Basically, I just experimented and made all sorts of software out of interest. Starting with calculators and ending with not complicated toys. But unfortunately, I almost never shared my work with others, in particular on GitHub and other repositories of code and various projects.
My interests are very diffuse, I don't focus on a particular technology or language. And now, after 2 years, I realized that it was time to start thinking about how to turn my hobby into a business that could earn a living.
The point is to understand. Where to begin? And in what direction should we move? In general, in addition to their questions, there are many, and I would like to learn the most important thing from an experienced developer. Let's go through some of them:

First, what direction in programming can be called promising?

Secondly, what are the features of a programmer's work? What qualities of a programmer are valuable?

How to become more competitive?

Freelancing, for a beginner - is it evil or a useful thing?

What should be feared?
However, and all the rest of the things that it is desirable to know when entering IT. And the labor market in particular.

PS I would be very happy if some senior with 10 years of experience comes here;)

First, what direction in programming can be called promising?

The one to which the soul lies. In others, you will not be ahead of those who came there by calling.
Secondly, what are the features of a programmer's job? What qualities of a programmer are valuable?

First of all, the ability to independently seek answers to your questions.
How to become more competitive?

Plow without rest and rest.
Freelancing, for a beginner - is it evil or a useful thing?

Almost impossible. And even if it was possible, then it’s better not to, a typical freelancing does not give development.
What should be feared?

Easy ways.

Freelancing, for a beginner - is it evil or a useful thing?

This is the only thing that shines for you at 15, at least there is a chance to break through ... Without experience, without cases and a portfolio, they simply won’t take a job + you should take into account the age itself. Freelancing is good for him - he put an avatar, worked with business correspondence and vo-a-la, you are already outsourced to Coca-Cola (just kidding). He himself started freelancing at the age of 18, for the first 2 years he did not make a single call in his niche, but at the same time he had a permanent job and a salary of $ 150-200, which for a student in a hostel, in combination with a scholarship and games without financial investments, is quite adequate money)
