Let's say there is a post for 10,000 characters, consisting of 5 sections. Everything is already indexed. I decided to make each section in the form of a separate article, i.e. as a result there will be 5 articles of 2000 characters.
How can this be done safely and is it possible to transfer the text already indexed behind this page to a new page or what needs to be done?

Because the old text will go away (there will be no page), and the new one will appear on new pages.
Well, sitemap - do not forget to update it correctly (old "footcloths" - remove links to them, and new short / divided articles - add links to them)
