How to speed up the work on the Internet?
Hello!
How can I speed up the work in the Internet browser?
If I work in Google Dock, then after 20-30 minutes of work, the computer starts to slow down very much.
I have pentium core 2 duo hardware, 4 gigabytes of RAM, Windows 7.
It also starts to slow down a lot when you watch videos on YouTube, or watch sites with ads that use Flash.
In terms of performance, I like the MacBook, there is no such problem.
My browser is Firefox. I tried Google Chrome - it also slows down, even more.
At some point, everything just freezes. I look in the task manager - the firefox process takes 1.2 GB of RAM and the processor by 40-60%.

Write to browser developers to remove these troubles. Recently, they have been more mocked at the voracity of Chrome than at the voracity of Kaspersky.
Try to install the latest (God forgive me) Internet Explorer and work in it.
Lately I don't really like the performance of Chrome, Firefox either. Yes, and there is a tendency for developers not to care about optimization and other things. Flash is actually very CPU intensive and can be the cause of memory leaks.
I recommend disabling unnecessary extensions to the maximum and downloading a flash blocker. There will be 1 more clicks, but everything that you yourself do not want to load and will not slow down.
You can try to work in another browser, they are not bad: maxthon or vivaldi
When working in any browser for a long time, it seems to me that brakes will accumulate.
What to do?
- Clear the cache
- Reload the browser
I work in undemanding k-meleon, and I do it regularly.
First, update the hardware. It is completely incomprehensible with which macbook (with what filling) you are comparing your "core 2 duo" (and which particular processor you have).
Secondly, if the first option is not suitable, then disable the flash plugin or remove it altogether. Half of the problems will not become immediately.
As part of the first paragraph, I would suggest increasing the RAM without changing the rest of the configuration, but I'm afraid this will not fix the situation.
