How to speed up sorting files in a folder?

There are tens of thousands of files in the folder, sorted by creation date, downloading takes a couple of minutes.
Windows 10, sdd samsung evo 256, intel i5 7600k, 16 gb ram ddr4

You can use console FM (for example, FAR). You can use console utilities (or scripts) to copy the files of the desired date to a new folder, and view them there.
You can also try turning off thumbnails for pictures (if any).
