How to speed up a site in Google PageSpeed Insights without knowledge of JS?

There is a site on which there are java scripts, they are all in the head, i.e. Google PageSpeed swears. I have no knowledge in javascript, I read several articles that, supposedly, you can almost stupidly transfer everything before the body and everything will work. When I do this, the site starts to “float”, the slider is no longer a slider, and the buy button reloads the page, i.e. the system loses its stability and everything stops working. I tried this manual, but the effect has not changed - everything is also crooked. Tell me, is everything tied up so much that this template cannot be accelerated with little bloodshed? And if this work requires special knowledge, how much is the price of this work? Thank you.
PS The site is hosted, there is no possibility to install the pagespeed server module.

If the budget option: try at random, one js at a time, transfer it to the footer, just like they were in Head. After each JS, look at the site what doesn't work and what doesn't. Here the importance is in the sequence of placing scripts.
