How to specify the version of Java in the exam in computer science?

How to correctly indicate the version of the java language in the exam in computer science, if it says: "specify the name and version of the programming language used, for example Free Pascal 2.4"? Should be: "Java 7" or something in the series: "Java 1.7.0_79"?

Major is enough (this is Java 7), in my opinion.
Why do you need to memorize the version up to the build number, if, as a rule, they do not carry a special semantic load (on tasks at the USE level)?
Major + minor. That is, Java 1.7 would be more correct.
