How to specify the path to external hdd correctly?

I use duplicaty, I make a backup copy of the files, I indicated the path where to backup
file:///media/gray/4tb/backup/
, but instead of adding files inside the external hdd called 4tb , the script created a separate folder with the same name 4tb next to it and uploaded everything there, it turns out everything was uploaded to the main hdd
how to do it right ?

@feanor7

Specify the mount point. /dev/sdb1 is mounted to /media/gray/?
well, then everything is correct, with such copying, a 4tb folder will be created inside the external disk, there is a backup pack in it ...
