How to sort ls output in smbclient?

I use the console smbclient to access the windows balls on the server. ls produces a list in some crazy order that does not match the alphabetical or chronological order in which files were added to it. How to sort? I emphasize that the action takes place in the internal dialog mode of smbclient, and not in the shell.

IMHO, no way. The order in which names are given in smbclient corresponds to the order of entries in the directory structure.
