How to sort files in Windows 10 folder?

Good afternoon.
Faced such a problem:
There is a folder with files, sorting is by date, I noticed such a moment, there is a file in the properties section "general" created / modified on 12/20/18, but in the "details" section the creation date is 04/14, because of this this file sorted incorrectly.
How can this be fixed?

You decide by which date you will sort - by the date of creation, or by the date of modification.
And sort.
