no need to touch the registry. Windows 10 has 2 indicators - "language bar" and "input indicator"
"language bar" is turned off by default, and generally turns on / off through "devices"
"input indicator" just through system icons
, see the question How to make tabs on windows 10 as in xp? p4 of my answer, there are screenshots under the spoiler
advice - check if the punch switcher itself includes any of these indicators
, it’s easy to check - disable its loading or temporarily delete it, disable the Windows indicators and reboot / relogin a couple of times
if Windows messes up - crooked Windows. in direct Windows there is no such problem for sure, that's why I suspect the puntoswitch itself. maybe there is something in its settings about this topic
