How to solve the problem with switching layouts?

Hello.
I plan to upgrade from Ubuntu 14.04 to Elementary OS Freya.
How is it now with switching keyboard layouts?
Bet for a long time and had problems with it.
Still wondering if there are proprietary drivers that Ubuntu 14.04 offers?
First of all, I want to get an opinion from those who use Elementary on a daily basis.
Thank you.

Been using Elementary for a while. Beautiful, but crooked. I got up with a creak, loaded the same way through the stump-deck. The drivers are all the same as those of Ubuntu, so there should be no problems with this (I used X.org, though). The bug with the layout is solved, for example, like this

Uses a colleague, happy as a boa constrictor. I put it home, constantly hung, stupid. The switch didn't work all the time. Took it down after 2 hours of work.
