How to solve the problem with installing an SSD drive in a laptop?
Good afternoon.
Faced with the problem of installing an SSD in the laptop.
There is an HP Envy 15 laptop with a Toshiba 750Gb hard drive with factory installed Windows 8 (Single Language Edition).
There is an additional connector for mSata SSD bar, where I installed a brand new Plextor bar for 128GB (PX-128M5M).
When you try to boot after installing an unallocated empty ssd in a laptop, an error message pops up from windows something like "your PC has a problem and needs to be restarted" after a reboot, a similar situation repeats and so on ad infinitum.
Moreover, if I enter recovery mode and check through the command line, for example, in diskpart, then the disks are not visible at all, neither the hard disk nor the SSD, and if I go into the BIOS, it can be seen that it detects / sees both disks.
In which direction should I dig?

In this configuration, I enabled UEFI-boot in the BIOS and immediately reinstalled it from the Windows system partition to the SSD (otherwise, what's the point of it =) )
