How to solve the problem with an inactive (out of focus) window in Windows?

Good day boys and girls. Faced such a problem. Lineage 2 C4 game closes after sending a few clicks to an inactive window. Whether it's some kind of protection, or a bug - I don't know, I'm too green in this thread. Moreover, when automating actions with the active window, there are no problems at all. Can anyone tell me where to dig and where to look for the reasons for this behavior of the program? Or else as an option - maybe there is some way to make an inactive window think that it is active?
