How to solve the problem of periodic network disconnection in a workaround?
Linux Mint 18.2, MATE, kernel 4.11.0-13. Realtek RT3290
card .
There is a problem that I can’t find a solution to yet, and it’s quite common - sometimes the connection to the Internet disappears at an unchanged Wi-Fi signal quality level (that is, nothing changes except that the data transfer rate becomes equal to zero). Turning Wi-Fi on/off in network-manager solves the problem until the next shutdown.
Is there any workaround to solve this problem? So far, a primitive thought arises in my head - write a daemon or script that periodically or constantly checks the connection, then, if the speed is 0, switches Wi-Fi in network-manager .
