How to solve the password problem after the update?
Good afternoon.
I bought Xiaomi redmi 3 a couple of days ago. Miui8
updates came this morning, daily build.
The updates were installed, the phone rebooted, but now it requires a password to start Android.
Initially, no accounts other than gmail were connected on the phone.
I registered on https://account.xiaomi.com , the record was created without problems. But when I try to enter the password for the account, it says that the password is incorrect.
How to solve this problem?

Try doing a hard reset.
First, turn off your phone. Hold down the power button for a while. Then you should hold down the buttons together, we are talking about the volume button and the power button, and hold them for a while. When the boot mode appears, stop doing it. In the next step, select the "Recovery" function. Let's use the volume down button, scroll through the operations, and the volume up button, confirming the selected function. The Android icon should pop up on the screen. You need to hold down the power button. This will put you in Recovery Mode. Now you should press the volume button and see wipe data / rectory reset. We hold down the power button, so we give consent to our action. Use the volume change button to find the function "Yes - delete all user data". We press the power button. It remains only to turn off the device, and then start it. Need a "reboot system now" function.
2. If Hard Reset did not help, then you need to sew a smartphone through a PC. If the model is based on the Snapdragon processor, then through fastboot, miflash. If on MTK, then through FlashTool.
3. Well, contact Xiaomi technical support, tell the situation, maybe they can solve your problem.
