How to solve the Cyrillic problem in the Gajim settings storage path?

Good day.
I encountered the following problem: if there is Cyrillic in the path C:\Users\*UserName*\AppData\Roaming\Gajim, then the program refuses to send files to the interlocutor, it displays the following:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "src\gui_interface.py", line 2455, in process_connections
File "c:\python27\lib\site-packages\nbxmpp\idlequeue.py", line 490, in process
File "src\common\socks5.py", line 1425, in pollin
  File "src\common\socks5.py", line 330, in on_connection_accepted
File "src\common\socks5.py", line 1323, in __init__
File "src\common\socks5.py", line 913, in __init__
  File "src\common\jingle_xtls.py", line 114, in get_context
Error: [('system library', 'fopen', 'No such process'), ('BIO routines', 'FILE_CTRL', 'system lib'), ('SSL routines', 'SSL_CTX_use_PrivateKey_file', 'system lib')]

Actually, the question is: is it possible to solve this problem without changing the Roaming location or the user's folder name?
System: Windows 7 Home Premium x64. Gajim: v0.16-beta2.
Thank you in advance.
