How to solve RAM problems in Acer?

In general, I had 4 gb on my Acer Aspire E1-531G-10054G32Mnk7, and 3 with a tail are available. I took 2GB of RAM from an old laptop and put it in this one, it showed 6 GB of which 2.3 is available. Well, I don’t care, they’re not compatible, I pulled out 2GB, turned on the laptop, it began to show that 2.3 is available. The question is how to make it so that 3 with a tail were available?
