How to solve problems with bower in ubuntu?

When I write a command in the console bower install jquery, it does not respond .
This is what it looks like:

[email protected]:~$ bower -v
[email protected]:~$

and even:

[email protected]:~$ bower install jquery
[email protected]:~$

[email protected]:~$ bower s jquery
[email protected]:~$

bower installed without errors but still doesn't work.

One of the options you have, in addition to nodejs, is a software with the same node name,
check what node --version gives and if the version of the node is not in the output,
then demolish all node to / bin / sbin and so on and reinstall nodejs
and then bower
