How to solve problem with ubuntu 16.04 shutdown?

Guys, the problem is not a joke!
I turn off the laptop with ubuntu 16.04 and in the off state the battery sits down so that after I can not turn on the laptop.
How would you decide? The laptop is new and I don’t want to kill the battery like that. We'll have to install Windows, but it's expensive and I would not want to.
Help decide?
From the articles, I turned it off like a standby mode and the like.
I tried to turn it off from the menu (upper right menu), by pressing the power button and through shutdown -h now
Nothing helps :((( some kind of trouble ...

I hasten to please you, you are faced with a very custom problem. The same thing on 14.04 had something like that. I was looking for a solution for a very long time, but still I found it. Everything about the software here already seems to be almost all advised, but most likely this is not the problem.
If the battery runs down and after the laptop is turned off with the button, then you need to look in the direction of two things (usually in combination) the first is the BIOS and it has already been talked about, but the second, oddly enough, is the driver. In my case, the laptop simply did not turn off the video card. If you explain it very roughly, then the video card driver put a big and thick one on the BIOS, they simply ignored it as an unnecessary intermediary, referring to the hardware directly. A little later, I found a video on YouTube where a guy without a south bridge under fribsd downloaded a laptop and his keyboard worked fine despite the fact that it couldn’t be like that
