It can help in the browser to enable compatibility mode with an older version of the browser itself. For example, in IE, press F12, a developer tools window will appear at the bottom, and there is a drop-down menu on the right side of the window title to select the version of IE, play around with them. At least with older versions of iLO on HP racks this helps. Or maybe I didn't understand the question :)
