How to solve Grub bootloader issue when installing Ubuntu Server 15.04 from USB flash drive?
I decided to install Ubuntu Server 15.04 for home experiments on a Toshiba NB520-D10 netbook https://market.yandex.ru/product/6940745?hid=91013...
1) I choose the language. I configure the location and keyboard
2) I configure the network.
3) I specify the archive mirror and proxy (I don’t fill in the proxy, because it doesn’t exist)
4) I create a user. I don't encrypt my home directory. I'm setting the time.
5) I choose automatic disk partitioning (I know that this is a bad option, but now you just need to install the system).
6) I refuse automatic updates and do not install any packages yet.
7) I install Grub and I get an error.
Can someone suggest how to solve this problem?
PS
Googled. The problem is known. They offer many solutions. So far none have come up.
Additionally.
After installing Grub in / dev / sdb1 (it got up without errors), rebooting (of course, I removed the boot from the USB flash drive in the BIOS) for 2 seconds, input appears on a black screen in the upper left corner (a blinking line of an input prompt) and disappears, it remains just black screen.

The black screen indicates that you need to open a terminal!
Press Alt + F1 and here it is - an invitation to log in!
