Binding buttons to systems or changing buttons to switch between systems in the grub bootloader?

The bottom line is that the arrow buttons are broken on the laptop, you need to somehow switch between systems while the new keyboard is running. Is there a way to change the toggle buttons, or make hot buttons to start a particular system?

Grub2 supports the creation of all sorts of menus, etc., where you can bind your own hotkeys to the commands in the menu.
