How to solve a problem with Ubuntu?
Installed Ubuntu 15.04 on a laptop instead of Windows via a flash drive (wrote using usb installer). The installation went fine, but after a reboot, a "black screen" crept up. I launched Ubuntu via Grub and, following the instructions, replaced "quit splash" with "nomodeset". Everything started up fine , but when the login screen appeared and I entered the data, a gray screen appeared and I was thrown back to data entry. New attempts were unsuccessful. Then I went into the terminal and tried to install the drivers on the video card from there. encoding. Restarting and retrying this obscurantism did not help. What should I do?
PS
Please don't throw slippers! I'm a stupid Windows user.
