Bootloader Recovery

The essence of the problem:
Windows was standing, Ubuntu was placed next to it, and its bootloader signed up over the window. This suited me perfectly, until the moment when I needed to reinstall Ubuntu - for some reason the installation was interrupted, and as a result, now when I try to boot I have an error due to a rough rough: Installing Ubuntu again does not work, but so far I I don’t need it, but I need to restore the bootloader (it doesn’t matter - Windows \ rough2) so that it can be loaded into the windows. I do not have an installation disk with Windows, only LiveUsb with Ubuntu. Tell me - what can be done in such a situation?
error: no such partition.
grub rescue>

I am writing here another option that helped me ( for those who encountered this problem and found this question on Google )
A good person writes :
-download the LiveCD image from Linux
-write the image to disk
-set the BIOS to boot from CD / DVD ( or by F12 at boot)
-boot from LiveCD
-log into the system and to open the terminal press the key combination: Ctrl + Alt + T
-in the terminal we write:

sudo apt-get install lilo

-press ENTER and wait until "lilo" is installed. Then we enter (assuming that the mbr partition is on sda, which, in most cases, it is):
sudo lilo -M /dev/sda mbr

-and again press ENTER
After that, restart the computer and everything should now work as it should.

Boot from the Ubuntu boot disk, in the console write grub-install /dev/sda/

Restoring grub can be a non-trivial task if the partition or folder in which grub was installed has become corrupted.
Try ms-sys , it can restore the xp bootloader from linux. I successfully restored the bootloader from ubuntu live cd using this method.
Also try writing to a windows 7 flash drive or hard drive, it's quite easy to do. Boot from it and try to restore the bootloader.
