How to solve a problem with Linux?
There was a problem booting Ubuntu 20.04. When loading kernel panic not syncing vfs unable to mount root fs on unknown-block 0 0. Before that, I updated the system (it took a long time somehow). How to solve the problem? Now I sit through LiveCD. Totally new to Linux

Boot into the LiveCD and fsck the root partition.
It can't load the system partition, fsck can help.
I'm not sure what Ubuntu has, but look for a system restore tool or something similar. The result is not guaranteed, but worth a try.
